Tickets for the Formula 1 races in Hanoi next year have gone on sales this week at over 1,800 Vinmart+ convenience stores. The general admission tickets for the three day to the event cost $75 USD, while a three-day Grand Stand ticket will cost $390 USD. There will also be one-day tickets available that will cost $30 ~ $60 USD per person.
The Formula 1 Hanoi races are scheduled for April 2020, but the dates have not been announced yet. Work on the race track started in March of this year, and all work on the race track is scheduled to be complete by March 2020.
Vingroup is Vietnam's largest private company and the main financial backer of the race. The company established the Vietnam Grand Prix in 2018 with a charter capital of $43 million USD. Vinmart+ belongs to Vingroup’s retail arm VinCommerce.

Vietnam will be the third Southeast Asian country to host an F1 race after Malaysia and Singapore and a 10-year contract has been signed to host the races in Vietnam. This initial contract can be extended in the future if the races are deemed successful.
German design firm Tilke and the Formula 1 Group have designed the 5.5.65 kilometer track, which will include 23 left and right turns. The racecourse will be a combination of public roads and a part of the My Dinh sports complex in Hanoi’s Nam Tu Lien District. It will be the fourth Formula 1 race that will combine both tracks and city streets after Monaco, Singapore and Azerbaijan.
