Saigon’s most anticipated new real estate project, the 64-hectare Saigon Sports City, officially broke ground last week. Saigon Sports City will be a new “integrated smart township” located in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2 area that is being developed by Singapore’s Keppel Group.

When finished, Saigon Sport City will have 4,300 premium homes and a sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub that includes a variety of sports facilities and green spaces that will make it a unique development. The first phase of the project will comprise residential spaces as well as sports facilities.
At the ground breaking ceremony, Loh Chin Hua, Keppel’s CEO said that, “Keppel has been participating in and contributing to Vietnam’s growth for close to three decades, especially in Ho Chi Minh City, where we have a quality portfolio of residential and commercial developments.”
She added, “Keppel Land and Keppel Urban Solutions are collaborating for the master plan and development of Saigon Sports City, which will be developed into a vibrant, integrated township and an iconic landmark in Ho Chi Minh City.”
