Hyatt announces that it will develop a new Park Hyatt Hotel and Residences in Phu Quoc

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that it will work with Vietnam’s BIM Group to develop a Park Hyatt hotel and residential complex in in Phu Quoc Island. There will be 110-room hotel along with 65 residences. The hotel ground breaking will happen this year and a “soft opening” for the hotel is projected for the 3rd quarter of 2022.

The new Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will join the award-winning Park Hyatt Saigon as Hyatt’s two top hotels in Vietnam. According to the hotel’s PR notice, “the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will offer discerning guests a sophisticated home-away-from-home in an exclusive oasis. Traditional Vietnamese villages inspire the hotel’s design and each guest room will feature luxurious interiors with exquisite Vietnamese accents. All guestrooms, suites and villas will also offer stunning ocean views.

The resort will feature a variety of amenities and facilities include two restaurants along with a bar, two swimming pools, pool side barbecue areas, a lakeside spa, a gym house with a lap pool, a Camp Hyatt kids' village. The hotel will also feature 400 square meters of event space and an organic farm.

Situated on the southwestern tip of Phu Quoc Island, the hotel and residences will be positioned to offer guests and residents mesmerizing sunset views. The development will stretch across 160 acres of land bordered by an expansive mile-long white sand beach on one side and lush undulating hills on the other. Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will be a 30-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, with direct access via the main north-south highway, and 40 minutes from Duong Dong, the island's main town.
