A $1 billion USD real estate project was launched in the northern seaside province of Thanh Hoa by Sun Group, one of Vietnam's leading real estate developers. The 550-hectare project consists of a massive plaza, pedestrian streets, hotel and resort complexes and recreational facilities.
A representative of Sun Group said that, "The Sam Son project is part of Sun Group's long-term development strategy to transform Sam Son City and Thanh Hoa Province into a tourism center of Vietnam."
The construction of the plaza and pedestrian streets in Sam Son City are schedules for completion the first quarter of 2022, which will include a 60-meter tall monument in the center of the plaza as a symbol for the city.

When developed and online, visitors to the Sam Son complex will be able to participate in a variety of cultural, sports and recreational activities that will allow them to experience the local traditions and culture of Thanh Hoa province.
Thanh Hoa is a province in northern Vietnam bordered by Laos and the Gulf of Tonkin. On the coast, Sam Son is a resort town with a long, white-sand beach. Ben En National Park is home to Ngọc cave, wild animals including gibbons and elephants, and Song Muc Lake, which is dotted with islands. In Pu Luong Nature Reserve, craggy limestone mountains back rice fields and traditional stilt house villages.
