Vietnam startup community receives support from TOPICA Founder Institute & DELL

Dell Vietnam has agreed to corporate with the Topica Founder Institute (TFI) – the only startup accelerator in Vietnam. TFI graduates have received approximately $10 million USD in investment funds and each year 10 graduates of the program receive scholarships of $60,000 USD each.

Topica Edtech Group is a leading online education provider in South East Asia and is one of the most successful startups in Vietnam. With the aim to encourage and motivate young generation to put their creative startups ideas in reality, Topica Founder Institute (TFI) was created to provide training and startup capital to founders. Its objectives include providing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and connections to attract investment capital and run their business successfully.

TIF activities have attracted media attention in Vietnam and Southeast Asia and attracted attention from Dell Vietnam. Dell of course is one of the most recognized computer brands and in the world and Dell decided to grant scholarships for TFI learners in the training courses to motivate and make them more confident for their startups plans in the future.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Long, the representative of Dell Vietnam, said that TIF not only brings practical values to anyone who wants to carry out a startup but also fosters the development of a start-up / tech community. He strongly believes that the young generation of Vietnamese have creative brains, comes up with innovative ideas and is full of determination in building a startup businesses and can accelerate their success by joining in programs like TIF. He also added that the involvement of Dell Vietnam with its financial support for Vietnam startup community will be expected to encourage more young people to create their startups and will contribute to economic development in the country.

The high rate of economic growth, the strong push towards globalization and the boom of technology in Vietnam opens up a variety of opportunities for Vietnam and Vietnamese entrepreneurs. TIF anticipates more cooperation between Vietnamese entrepreneurs and international companies such as Dell and expects to be able to expand its programs in the coming years.
